We are developing this page for Librarians and Teachers as a resource for using The Desert Surprise Series books with children. As an example, Lindsey’s Desert Surprise, has a page of suggestions for making the book interactive.
As time goes on, we will include sample lesson plans, links to the Sonoran Desert, and have a general discussion of the books in The Desert Surprise Series.
