Deer having a leisurely dinner
This deer is enjoying a leisurely dinner.
Why do you think there is such a difference between the painting of the deer and the photograph?

The photography is real - the painting is an impression

You are right. That is one reason. Does the painting give you a feeling about the deer? Emily York, author

This first thing I notice about the painting is the deer’s eyes and ears - both of which help them to protect themselves and find food.

I love the books you have writen. The books are well presented. One thing that I have noticed is that the deer in the painting is more story-book-like whitch atracts young readers.

Hi Namesake,
I am so glad you love the book. Keep looking at the web site. I will be adding things to it from time to time. I hope to have Sarah’s book out soon.
